Dear comrade,
We are writing this email because we would like to make an
investigation into what we see as a current period of strength for the
Swedish workers movement and the extra-parliamentary left. This email
is part of the research for this pamphlet, so we would be very
grateful if you could take the time to answer some of the questions
and/or forward it to anyone who you may think would be interested.
We want to make this pamphlet because we think that the activities
being practised and the ideas being developed by the movement in
Sweden are very exciting and deserve to be more widely known. This
pamphlet will examine the movement's main characteristics and attempt
to give it a historical basis. To begin with, We would like to draw a
historical line around the movement, to figure out where it begins and
how it has progressed. This is the basis of the first questionnaire,
which is focused on personal reflections about the movement.
Below it is a questionnaire for members of political groups, this will
look more at the political ideas being developed. There are also a
number of practical questions about crediting contributions, and
follow up questions, so please fill these out as it will make our life
a lot easier. We have included some personal details so you can have
an idea of our political background. Also, PLEASE forward this to any
individuals or groups who you might think would be interested, the
more responses we get the better the pamphlet will be, and the more
value it will have to the workers movement.
About us: We are anarchist and libertarian socialists that have been
active in the movement in various different countries. At present we
are all based in Scandinavia (Norway, Denmark and Sweden) and are
involved to some extent in class struggle projects there.
Please email responses to swedishzine[at]gmail.com. If you would like
to post this to any publicly available web forums etc, please remove
any personal email addresses first.
